The story behind my luminous intuitive art

I'm Heike Kolles, a German self-taught intuitive artist and transformational coach living in Austria and the South of France. My path to art has been a journey back to myself — guided by intuition and the courage to follow an inner calling.

My work reflects a deeply personal journey of transformation — from a structured career in international management to a life guided by intuition, joy, synchronicity and creative expression.

My artworks are energetic portals that carry messages beyond words. By expressing the pure essence of my soul, my art celebrates beauty, love, diversity and the joy and freedom of being truly yourself.

My Journey

How everything began in Paris

I hold a double diploma in International Management from the leading French Business School ESCP, where I studied in Paris, Oxford and Berlin.

My master’s thesis examined how Total Quality Management is applied in museums in Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States. The research was conducted in cooperation with the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation and connected to the museums of Berlin’s Museum Island.

I then built an international career in large corporations and global consulting, working across disciplines such as marketing, controlling, change management and supply chain strategy, including executive leadership responsibilities.

While living and working internationally, I spent much of my free time exploring the art museums of the cities I lived in and traveled to — quietly nurturing a connection to the world of art long before I began painting myself.

When the old way no longer fit

In 2009, after years in this fast-paced world of consulting, I realized I had lost the deeper connection to myself and the life I truly wanted to create. I decided to embark on a journey back to myself.

first turning point

From rational management consulting to intuitive vision coaching

I completed a three-year professional coaching training while also being guided through a 1:1 mentoring program with an intuitive teacher. This inner work reconnected me with my true self. It was the moment when my path of the mind slowly opened into the path of the soul.

Following a deep inner call, I chose to leave behind my role as an executive in management consulting, trusting intuition as the guiding compass of my life.

In 2012 I founded my company  Visionsmanufaktur in Vienna and began working as a VisionCoach. Since then, I have supported many people at turning points in their lives to reconnect with their intuition and rediscover what they truly want to create — moving toward a more authentic, joyful and purposeful life.

Exploring the Path of Intuition

Driven by a deep curiosity about human potential and inner guidance, I continued exploring ways of reconnecting with my intuition beyond classical coaching — engaging body, mind and soul through practices such as chakra work, awareness practices, sound, voice and movement.

I joined a pop music class and recorded my first cover songs in 2020.

This inner journey opened the door to a new form of Creative expression: INTUITIVE PAINTING - a way to express my feelings and soul IN COLORS AND IN AN ABSTRACT WAY.

The Second Turning Point

When intuition became EXPRESSED THROUGH ART

In 2020, during the lockdown, a serendipitous moment led me to retreat into nature and spend several weeks in a small wooden cabin in the Austrian countryside.

Surrounded by silence, I began to paint intuitively.

Barefoot, working on large canvases on the floor, I let color and movement guide the process. There was no plan — only presence, emotion and flow. I painted in connection with my joyful inner child — the playful, fearless part of myself that creates before the mind begins to judge.

What began as an exploration soon became a life-changing turning point. Trusting my intuition once again, I stepped into the unknown, reshaping my life across countries while evolving my intuitive art and expanding my transformational inner work through the power of art.

Where Intuitive Art Meets Photography and Technology

FROM PAINTING TO DIGITAL ART

Whenever I paint, I instinctively capture fragments of the artwork with my camera while it is still evolving on the canvas. I have always loved photography, and for my, painting and photography naturally belong together.

During my time working in the quiet of nature, the idea emerged to bring these worlds together. Some works remain pure translations of the original paintings. Others evolve further through digital refinement, while others emerge as I merge my digitized intuitive art with my own photographs of places, cities, and landscapes — transforming them into a new visual language.

This is how the PARADISE BIRDS came to life. They simply appeared and were then digitally refined.
